Failure to Launch

Recently, I was looking at a print flyer that was snail mailed to my home. I noticed that a large number of businesses’ ads did not have a website listed.  Some of them had websites, and it made me wonder –why, after spending all that time designing an ad and paying the cost to advertise, wouldn’t they list their web address.

Not listing your website address or even worse — not having a website, leaves the person viewing the ad, hanging. Don’t get me wrong, print advertising is important, but you can only put so much in the ad because of limited space and cost.  It makes sense to take the viewer to your website where you can tell the whole story on what you are offering.  Before making a purchase, people tend to want to know more about you, your business, service and/or products.

So, the next time you place an ad in that flyer, newspaper, magazine, billboard …etc., remember to make room for your web address. If you don’t have a website — drop me an email or call me. I can help you solve that problem.

Don’t fail to launch your website address in your next ad campaign.
