You hear this jargon all over the net. SEO, Search Engine Optimization, We can place you website number one in the search engines.  Let’s make this very clear…the only ones that can make your website  show up in the number one spot in the search engines are the Search Engines Companies themselves. To back this up – Google, the number one search engine, spells it out pretty clearly and in big bold letters  No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google  . It goes on to say “Beware of SEO’s that claim to guarantee rankings”.  Duh! I guess all these companies that are trying to sell you SEO and are telling you they can get you number one ranking,  did not read the Google webmaster guidelines.
